failure is not about losing.
failure is about learning.

so purge must also be birth.

when we fear failure (or the appearance
of failure), we’ll do
anything to avoid it.
we’ll even sacrifice our own life,
choke out the possibility for joy.

control is the opposite of receivership.
we can’t truly receive if we’re trying
to control how it comes, when it comes,
why it comes, what it “should” look like.

we get what we ask for, usually.
somewhere, i’m asking for it.

often we create more damage
attempting to prevent a dissolution.
like trying to plug an erupting
volcano. whereas if we
would just let it go, surrendering
to c r e a t i o n…

control limits what we can receive
to our preconceived notions.
what about abandoning to
Possibility, to Imagination
that is about to be expanded.

you actually don’t have to
hold it all together
or keep it alive.

keeping dead things alive
fosters resentment, creates
more death, not life.

our ability to go down
determines our freedom to go up.

let us entertain silence
to expand our containers
for receivership +
the potential for awe.
